Sex Positive Night (Part 1): Short Films & Talk

Like everything else, porn is political. At this year’s Sex Positive Night we invite you to join us for a conversation that explores the links between pleasure activism, sex-positivity, pornography and politics. In this dialogue, we also try to examine how embracing eroticities can reshape our social spaces and deepen our personal connections.

Our discussion features activists, performers and producers who contribute to the sex-positive movement through their work in porn, education, and activism.

Moderated by cultural worker David Prieth, the evening will navigate both the sensual and political dimensions of sexual expression, inviting us to question norms and broaden the spectrum of our erotic lives.

Pimenta Cítrica is a Brazilian erotic writer, pleasure activist, and sex educator based in Berlin, on a mission to make life more pleasurable. Multifaceted, she works across writing, video and audio content creation, brand consultancy, teaching, workshops, public speaking, and advocacy to celebrate intimacy and push boundaries from a queer-inclusive, feminist perspective.

As a member of the Digital Intimacy Coalition, Pimenta leads the Open (Mind) AI campaign, bringing the adult industry into policy discussions with politicians and the EU Commission. She’s also one of the voices behind I Am The Clitoris, a project spreading cliteracy and pleasure education worldwide.

Dynamic and unapologetically bold, Pimenta is reshaping the conversation around pleasure, one story, one screen, and one stage at a time.

Luna Timnis, born in 1998 in Southern Burgenland, lives and works as a freelance photo- and videographer in Vienna.

She graduated from the Academy of Applied Photography and the College of Fine Art Photography & Multimedia Art at HTBLVA Ortweinschule, Graz. Since 2018, she has worked on artistic photography projects, exhibiting her work in various shows.

With her debut flight of fancy she dipped her toes into the (hot!) water of pornographic filmmaking, combining her passion for visual art and creative concepts of pleasure.

She is eager to continue exploring this field, experimenting with new ways to blend visual storytelling and intimate expression.

As the founding producer and director of Pink and White Productions, (CrashPadSeries.com, PinkLabel.tv, and the BLUSH San Francisco PornFilmFestival), Shine Louise Houston has always had a unique vision. Graduating from San Francisco Arts Institute with a Bachelors in Fine Art Film, her works have become the new gold standard of adult cinema.

During a five year position at the women-owned sex toy purveyor Good Vibrations, Shine recognized an underserved demand for an alternative to mainstream pornography, and began to create well-crafted queer made porn. Shine’s films have been recognized among the next big wave of women produced porn and have been internationally screened from Amsterdam to New Zealand.
